Vehicle Rental Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the rental agreement between AA Car Rental Costa Blanca(CV-902, 18, 03129 Daya Nueva, Alicante, Spain — info@aarentalsspain.com — +34 744 60 73 84), the "Rental Company", and the customer named on the Rental Agreement, the "Main Driver".

Only drivers listed on the Rental Agreement are authorised to drive the vehicle.

Each booking is confirmed with a Rental Agreement Number and Booking Number that specify:

• Pickup date, time and location.
• Return date, time and location.
• Rental days and applicable rate type: Flexible, Partially Refundable, or Non-Refundable.

The minimum rental period is 3 days.

• Vehicle category, make and model are indicative — the Company may substitute an equivalent or higher category.
• Registration number, VIN and mileage at pickup are recorded on the Rental Agreement.
• Mileage is unlimited unless a limit is stated on the Rental Agreement.
• Fuel policy: same-to-same. The fuel level at pickup is recorded on the Rental Agreement and the vehicle must be returned at the same level. The level is verified at return.

• The Total Rental Cost is the sum of rental price, extras and taxes as shown on the Rental Agreement.
• Any Balance Due is payable at pickup.
• No security deposit is required — nothing is held or blocked on the Main Driver's card.
• Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard and other cards agreed in advance.

All rentals include the legally required third-party liability insurance.

Optional Protection Packages are available at pickup:

• Basic Cover — standard excess applies.
• Standard Cover — reduced excess.
• Premium Cover — lowest excess, extended protection.

The customer is liable up to the Excess amount stated on the Rental Agreement. Insurance exclusions apply (see section 6).

By signing the Rental Agreement, the customer confirms that:

• All information provided is accurate.
• The driving licence presented is valid and has not been suspended or revoked.
• The driver is at least 25 years old and has held a valid driving licence for at least 2 years.
• Only authorised drivers listed on the Rental Agreement will drive the vehicle.
• The vehicle will comply with all traffic laws and will not be used for illegal purposes, racing, off-road driving or towing.

Breach of these conditions may void insurance cover.

• The vehicle is inspected by the customer before pickup.
• Existing damage is recorded in the Vehicle Condition Report.
• Photographs may be taken at pickup and return.
• Any unreported damage discovered after pickup may be considered the customer's responsibility.

The customer agrees to pay:

• Traffic fines and parking penalties.
• Toll charges.
• Administrative handling fees for processing fines and third-party claims.
• Fuel shortages and refuelling charges.
• Cleaning fees for vehicles returned excessively dirty.
• Damage charges not covered by insurance.

The customer authorises the Company to charge the payment method used for the booking for such amounts where permitted by law.

• Electronic signatures have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures.
• Documents uploaded through the booking system are treated as true and accurate copies.
• Payments may be processed through the payment provider associated with the booking.
• Rental documentation may be stored electronically.

By signing the Rental Agreement, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and accepted:

• The Rental Agreement.
• These Rental Terms & Conditions.
• The selected rate and cancellation policy.
• The insurance and liability conditions.
• The privacy policy.
